Why did you decide to join Thorgate?
I chose to join the company after Silver from Vestman recommended it to me. I was interested in working with Python, and the company seemed to be the perfect place to grow and develop my skills.

Back in 2019 I still tried to have some Estonian language practice, so Madis and I had short "talking sessions" from time to time as he was willing to help with it. So that I learned that not all native speakers know the difference between suffixes -ke and -kene. When explained, he didn't believe until some one else from natives confirmed it.

I now know more about the peat production, grain industry, woodchips etc and am learning something new every day. Even watched the environmental show “Jälg” to prepare for a client meeting (woodchips).

Fristly, I have always been wanted to change the world. Secondly, I have been very into tech, and thirdly and what made me make the last move was - I heard a podcast with Susan Wojcicki some time ago and I got very inspired.

The first grill and chill event at Alan place. Once I left the main office room and when I came back I saw people standing still. Turns out everyone was doing mannequin challenge.

I know there are places with a bigger salary and less stressed environment. Partially I am staying because I know people, who are capable and people know me so we take advantage of that and that I am never bored here. And that I feel that I can change things that I feel are not working.
