What's My Role Again?
If a parent is filling out an enrollment packet for their freshman student at Carver and has a question about some of the forms, they should talk to me.
Who is the CES?
By the end of the quarter it should be at 95%
What is volunteer activity?
Each quarter this is where I write down my vision for the community and set my goals and calendar.
What is a project plan?
A volunteer has a per person budget of this much money 4x a week to get food and catch up with their thread family.
What is $12?
This is our largest and most important community event that happens every year in December.
What is holiday party?
If some young people at ThreadHOURS show interest in a career in the healthcare field and you would like to bring in a speaker from a local hospital or healthcare facility to talk about what they do, you call me!
Who is the PRM?
To apply for most jobs and even colleges I need to have 4 out of 5 of these.
What are vital documents?

Only these roles have a discretionary budget to use for admission to conferences, meals, supplies, printing, transportation, or parking related to Thread activities
Who are the R&O, CM, PM, Director, PRM and CES?
This summer opportunity often kicks off in the winter and requires young people to secure their most vital documents.

Who is the PM?
It takes the whole team to achieve this goal of 65% for students who have been with us four years.
What is high school graduation?
When a young person is struggling to succeed because of an unforeseen need, and a little support might avoid the storm, no need to worry just fill out this form.
What is the barrier removal form?
Spending most of our budget for the year, high volunteer activity and volunteer attendance, and high student activity and attendance all together are proof of this.
What is spending for impact?
In a word, we should start preparing for this major milestone celebration in November so we can celebrate in April.
What is Quad?
A year 4 student is struggling with their grades and is already on the bubble. They have a difficult family life and could really use more support and attention but have only one family member who checks in sometimes. Tonight at intro to Thread there will be 20 new PV's and a couple of them have been highly motivated and showed interest in being a leader. I will be there to find an HOF for this student.
Who is the CM?
If our community needs 70 new volunteers then I need to identify this many new PV's, almost five times that amount!
What is 350?
When creating an event that involves more than one thread worth of volunteers and/or students and will need a budget outside of the spending guidelines this form needs to be filled and approved to be sure we are spending for impact.
What is the site-based engagement proposal form?
My expenses should always be completed and submitted with all receipts attached no later than this date each month.
What is the 27th?
Join your PM and head out of the city on this once a year over night opportunity to learn, play, and experience something new. You should be planning this experience right now though before those prices go up!
What is spring break trips?
A young person is interested in starting their own business but wants to earn a certificate at a local community college first. They are working with their volunteers to buy the equipment they need but could use some extra support. I can help with that!
Who is the R&O?
It is our job to ensure that most students are enrolled in summer school or have a job over the summer.
Who are the PM, CM, CES, and R&O?
This person is responsible for adding content to the site-based newsletter each month.
Who is EVERYBODY!!!!!
These are ONLY to be used for barrier removal and for Thread events and should only be paid for on the Thread account so they can be properly tracked.
Central to the thread model, every January 1 this event grows and shrinks the thread community, creating new friends and saying goodbye to old and it needs to be planned for starting right now!
