We are sinners in need of a savior, so Jesus saves us. He saves us, and then we are able to share this good news with others.
When is doubt good? When is doubt bad?
Doubt is good when it forces us to look for God more. Doubt is bad when we give up so quick that we drop everything we know to be true.
In Riley's story, his friend had trouble believing what Paul wrote in the New Testament, but was able to believe what Jesus said in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. What was his response to his friend?
Jesus didn't write the gospels, so if we doubt Paul, we doubt everything in the Bible since it was all written by ordinary people. (The gospels included which are all about Jesus).
