It's a weekend. You call off because you want to relax. How does this impact your peers at work?

There are more jobs to be done... what could have been a slow day at work is now very busy, this is also not good teamwork!

100

You don't show up to work and didn't notify management. What's this called?

No call, No show

100

UTO

Unscheduled time off

How many minutes is your lunch break?

30 minutes

100

Suppose you are scheduled to work on a day you know you requested off. What do you do?

Talk to supervisors and show them your request in teams!

Please do this in advance, when the schedule is posted. If it has been denied in Teams it will say why in the notes. If denied you are expected to work your shift even if you requested it off.

Ugh... You're stuck in traffic even though you left with plenty of time to get to work. You're only going to be a few minutes late. Should you call or text?

Call only! Texting is not a sufficient way to communicate with the office.  Always call if you're going to be late so we know you're okay!

200

You've been absent for 3 consecutive days without calling management. What's this considered?

Job abandonment and you will be terminated

You're scheduled for 2PM but get to work at 1:23PM. You want to start work early, is it okay to punch in?

You must have supervisory approval, otherwise this is considered an unauthorized adjustment of work hours!

200

What must be available in your "bank" in order for you to be approved for vacation?

PTO. If you do not have enough PTO your vacation request will most likely be denied.

Uh oh! Something came up and your friend agreed to take your shift. What do you do?

Go into Teams and select offer shift. All requests off, shift offerings, or switching shift must go through the Teams app. This must be done for the same pay period and cannot be overtime for the person taking your shift.

Yes. Unless we downsize, early leaves count against your time and attendance.

400

When is the only time your PTO is not used?

When we ask you if you want to leave early. If you ask to leave early or call off for any reason at all your PTO is used.

500

Your car breaks down. You call us and say that you may be late or may not be in at all, but you'll call us back later when you know for sure. You never call us back. Why is this a concern?

if you cannot come in, we can call someone to cover your shift. If you don't call us, we are not sure if you are okay.

500

You're tired today, and you know there are jobs in the system. You decide to ignore your pages and notifications so you can relax for a half hour. What is this considered?

Ignoring pages. Your fellow transporters are working hard, and patients are waiting to be moved. If you need a break for a valid reason, you can call the office, and we will put you in the break book. You must call for breaks for this reason and so they don't get held against you as unscheduled breaks.
