To maximize your time, minimize distractions. Identify your time wasters and find ways to manage those distractions. Set time limits on social media such as Facebook, Tumblr, or Instagram, and other distractions. Keep your scheduled time blocks separate. When you have scheduled time for studying—focus on studying; when you have scheduled time with your friends—focus on your friends; when you have scheduled time for rest—focus on resting. Each time you follow your schedule, make sure you find small ways to reward yourself.
