  • Ask the surveyor for clarification by asking them to repeat or restate the question.
  • What if you do not know the answer to the question the surveyor is asking you?
  • Explain that you do not know the answer and show them how you would get the information
  • Don’t get defensive or impatient
  • Don’t panic, remain CALM – tell them what you DO know!
  • Let your answers by ‘yay or nay’.
