They both had so many animals and belongings that the land could not support them living close together.

The herdsmen (workers) of Abram and Lot were arguing.

He asked them to leave their home in Ur and travel to a new land.

He changed his name to Abraham.

Abram let Lot choose whichever land he wanted, and Abram would take the other side.
What promise did the Lord give Abraham and Sarah even though they didn’t have children?
He promised that they would have a child and that their family would bless the whole earth.

He would have many descendants.
He would be the father of many nations.
God would always be his God.

He chose to stop the conflict, spoke kindly, and let Lot choose first instead of fighting over the land.

A covenant is a special promise between God and us. We promise to follow Him, and He promises to bless us.

- Talk calmly instead of arguing
When you feel scared, sad, or worried like Abraham and Sarah, what can you do to remember that God hears you?
Pray and talk to Heavenly Father.
Trust His promises.
Remember times He has helped you before.
Be patient and keep believing.
