Julia feels down and hasn't been motivated to do her homework and chores. Her mom is concerned for her because she's been acting more frustrated lately.

Julia could pray and act God why she is feeling this way and how to act upon in.

Example:

Lily sees that her sibling has a key chain she really wants. She feels very tempted to steal it but wants to pray about it first.

How would he answer?

God would answer no, because it goes against his teachings.

Instead of stealing, she could find an alternative like: 

- asking her sister where she got it from and buying it.

- ask her sister if she could lend it

Why did he need the bread?

He wanted to provide for his friend that visited him

Scenario:

Jonah really wants to get into a program that he applied for. He prays and asks got to allow him into the program.

However, his application feedback says he didn't get i.

He feels frustrated and is wondering, why did God do this?

What can be the reasons why God didn't allow this to happen?

- A new opportunity could open, like another opportunity and program that is better for him!

- He can build off of this experience and learn that it's okay to not get into everything he wants.

(PS. this is a fundamental skill for when you're an adult. Accepting being turned down can help you grow as a person)

 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Why did he end up giving the bread at the end?

Because of their audacity.

Even though he was tired, he still got up and gave bread to the friend because he was persistent (kept asking)

Scenario:

Parker goes to church every Sunday, but still doesn't feel connected to God. He wants to pray about it, but he feels like God will be disappointed in him.

What would you tell him?

He can pray and tell God how he feels. 

God loves when you are honest to him! Parker can pray and ask what he can do to not feel this way.

What is the point of this parable?

To show us how if we pray and ask God, we will be provided for in the end.

Scenario:

A farmer has two daughters.

One daughter asks the father,

"Please pray for it to rain. The weather is too sunny and the crops are dry."

The other daughter asks,

"Father, we have a pottery business and if it rains, we will not be able to dry the pots. Can you pray for it to be sunny?"

The father is in a dilemma. What should he do?

He should pray and allow the situation to be in God's hands. 

In the story, he says "God, do as you wish. Let the decision be final" because he trusts the will of God.
