Ensure electrical cords and plugs are in good condition (no damage to insulation, exposed internal wires, taped wires, or missing ground pins). Make sure all guards are present and working properly. NEVER wear gloves when using any of these tools. Make sure that all bits, belts, and blades are straight and tightly clamped. Disconnect power or remove battery from the tool before reloading or adjusting bits or blades. Remove all adjusting keys and wrenches prior to starting a tool. If a tool is dropped while work is in progress, reinspect prior to continuing operation.

List the proper inspection, preparation and operation protocol for panel saw, this is closed notes, you have 3.4 minutes? spelling does not count >:)

While powered off, check for missing or broken parts; inspect the blade, Check the tool casing for any cracks, Check that all handles are secure, Make sure all guards are present and secure, Inspect the dust collection system, making sure it is properly attached and in good.

rip cut - Place workpiece on lower support track/rollers and, with the saw in the upper rest position, verify smooth side to side travel of the workpiece throughout the full length, Ensure the blade is locked in rip cut (horizontal) orientation, Position the saw and lock at correct ripping height using the mounted vertical rip measuring tape, Confirm ripping direction and position workpiece on the correct side of the saw, Ensure blade is rotating at full speed before feeding the workpiece into the sawblade, Coordinate with receiving technician to smoothly feed material through the saw at a constant speed, Ensure the blade has fully stopped before adjusting carriage.

cross cut - Ensure blade is locked in cross cut (vertical) orientation, Carefully release carriage lock and move saw vertically on the guide tubes through full range of crosscut travel to ensure freedom of movement; return saw to uppermost crosscut position, Place workpiece so that it is supported by a minimum of 2 material rollers, Ensure blade is rotating at full speed before cutting, With a firm grip, slowly bring saw down at a constant speed, cutting in a smooth downward motion until saw passes through material, Ensure blade has come to a complete stop before returning carriage to the starting position, Remove material from both sides of saw.
