Before reporting to a member of Torre's safeguarding team, be sure to start investigating and questioning the child regarding the allegation they have told you.
DON'T investigate.
Be sure to report to a DSL or DDSL as soon as an allegation is made. They follow the protocol and have education, training, and experience with child protection reports. They can then advise you further.
False: Always log safeguarding information before the end of the school day where possible. Always ask Vicki or Laura if you are unsure. This could leave children at risk of significant harm.
