· Exempt = They are NOT eligible for OT
o Example: If they make $50 an hour, and they worked 41 hours for the week, they would get paid $50 an hour for the 41 hours they work.
· Non-Exempt= They ARE eligible for OT
o Example: if they make $30 an hour, and they work 41 hours for the week, thy would get paid out for 40 hours at $30 an hour and then 1 hour at $45 an hour.
