What is a resume?
A resume is a document used and created by a person to present their job/volunteer experiences, skills, and accomplishments.
-Makes employers more likely to hire you
-Applications may require one

-A checking account allows you easy access to your money via debit cards, checks, and withdrawals.

effectively managing time your time through organizing and planning how long you sped on specific activities
What is the difference between an Associates degree and a Bachelors degree?
Associate's degrees are two-year programs that may prepare students for a career or guide in transferring into a bachelor's degree program.
Bachelor's degree programs are usually four-year courses of study available at colleges and universities that provide more advanced study in a particular major.
What is a cover letter?
A cover letter in a one page letter that provides additional information on your skills and experience to the hiring manager or organization you are applying to
-Outlining why you are qualified for the specific job you are applying for
-Sent along with a resume
What is a savings account?
-A savings account is a type of bank account that allows you to deposit money, keep it safe, and withdraw funds, all while earning interest.
-you can save for things such as having your own car etc. :)

-know what the job is through reviewing job description
-learn more about the company and organization you are applying to
-practice! Do mock interviews to feel more prepared
-prepare questions to ask your interviewer
-Print a resume
-ensure you have transportation to the interview
-arrive 15 minutes early

a budget is a plan for your money
-tracking your income and expenses
-helps to understand where you spend your money and to mange money in a responsible way

What is a scholarship?
Scholarships are financial aid awards designed to help students pay for college expenses
They differ from student loans because they do not need to be repaid

What should I wear to an interview?
Usually a job interview calls for you to wear professional or business attire
examples:
-suit jacket and slacks with a shirt
-tie or a sweater and button-down.
-a blouse and dress pants or a statement dress is appropriate.
-ask the employer ahead of time to know what to expect :)
What is a credit card?
A credit card allows you to borrow money to buy things.
-You have to pay this money back
-Having a credit card helps you with building credit
-Credit is needed to show you are responsible with money
for example: Renting an apartment generally requires landlords to check your credit score before approving you
