Why is Rosa Parks famous?
Rosa Parks was a black woman who lived in the past. In her life, black people had to sit in the back of the bus. If a white person didn't have a seat, a black person had to stand up and let the white person take their seat. One day, Rosa parks said "no" to a white man who wanted her seat. The police put her in jail. After this happened, people thought Rosa Parks was a hero and they started to fight for their rights.
