Yellow slips. Earned for being a great Falcon citizen while on campus. 

Dress pass. Awarded to students without referrals for behavior, tardy, or uniform each month to use at the beginning of the next month.

Additional incentives are provided throughout the year for positive behavior and good attendance.

What is the appropriate Student Drop Off/Pick Up area?

All students are to be dropped off and picked up on 61st Street or Skyline Drive. Please do not drop students off in the parking lot. The back gate (facing 61st Street) is reserved for elementary student entry only. Middle school students should enter through the main entrance, near the OCS office.

What is the Library Check-Out Policy?

Up to three books may be checked out for 14 days. Overdue books will be fined .05 cents per day overdue.

How do students reset on the Progressive Discipline consequence levels?

What is the Retention Policy?

Students absent more than 30 days throughout the school year will be retained at their current grade level. An absence is defined as not being present for part or all of any school day.

What is a contract, what is it for, where do I start one, and where does my student return their work?

A contract is used when a student is going to be absent for 1 day or more.

When the student turns in their contract, their absence would be cleared.

A contract can be started at the Main Office with our Attendance Clerk Ben Astudillo at least three days prior to their absence.

Students return their work to Ben.

What are the 8 requirements for 8th Grade Promotion activities?

Students must earn passing grades in all classes.

Students must earn a citizenship GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Students must not be suspended or have been assigned an independent learning day in the last six weeks of school.

Students must have served/cleared any owed consequences.

Students may not have more than 30 absences for the entire school year.

Students must not engage in fighting for the entire school year.

Students must earn a passing grade on their exhibition.

Students must earn 12 hours of community service: 4 hours at school, 4 hours at home, 4 in hours in the community.
