How do I enter the classroom?
Quietly. Begin working on DLR and then read while waiting on the class.
Teachable in the hallway looks like...
Level 0, hands behind you or beside you if your backpack is on, facing forward, on the 3rd block.
Respectful in the classroom looks like...
not talking while others are talking, not being negative to each other, supporting each other, not blurting out, raising our hands
Organized in the classroom looks like...
being prepared with materials, turning in assignments on time, having your notes tidy, your backpack is tidy and clean, knowing where everything is
Together in the classroom looks like...
supporting each other, being positive
Where do I turn in my work?
In my color bin within the folder with my name on it.
Teachable in the cafeteria does not look like...
Shouting as we enter the room, throwing food, standing on the chairs
Respectful as a teacher looks like...
Listening to all your students, being fair and equal, not being negative to the students, being helpful
Organized in the bus looks like...
having your backpack on your lap, not pulling things out and playing with them while the bus is moving
Together in the hallway looks like...
walking quietly in line, not turning around and talking
How high do I need to raise my hand in order to be acknowledged?
To the ceiling
Teachable in the bathroom does not look like...
looking over stalls, splashing water, being in there for forever
Respectful in resource looks like...
Listening to instruction carefully, speaking up when we need help, being honest
Organized in the class library does not look like...
pillows thrown every where, books left on the floor and counter
Together in the playground looks like...
staying together, knowing where everyone is
If I have something I need to share with Mrs. Huymaier but it is not relevant to class or necessary what can I do?
I can wait until lunch or recess.
I can write it down and put it in the Teacher Mail box on the back counter.

I have a question about something I am working on, how do I get the help I need?
