What does it mean to respect the house?
no graffiti, moving or writing on furniture, walls or property... damage to house or property will be repaired by the client, paid for in points and possibly billed to client and family
T or F: I can sleep without underwear if that is more comfortable for me.
FALSE - underwear should be worn at ALL TIMES, the only exception being bras when going to sleep.
If a body check needs to be done, and you are not wearing underwear, you will still be body checked by the on shift nurse
T or F: My room and laundry will be cleaned regularly by the company maid.
FALSE - there is no maid, you are responsible for keeping your bedroom and laundry clean
How do alternative meals work?
Alternative meals are limited per client and include whatever is available that day

zero tolerance for violence of any kind, no bullying, no touch facility
Where can slippers and slides be worn?
Inside bedroom ONLY - for your safety, socks and shoes must be worn at all other times
What can happen if there is a safety concern in my room?
if there is a safety concern, rooms and personal belongings must and will be searched by staff
When can I enter the kitchen?
Before entering the kitchen, opening the fridge and/or opening the pantry, you ALWAYS need to get staff permission FIRST
What are the five core values?

What types of touch are allowed?
fist bumps , hand hugs , and goodbye group hugs
What are check-in/check-out items?
Items that could be considered unsafe, and subsequently are *usually earned at level three - i.e. jewelry, hats, etc.

What is included in respecting your community?
completing your assigned chores and keeping your shared spaces neat
Can I eat as much as I want whenever I want?
No. There are scheduled snack and meal times throughout the day, and you cannot eat snacks and meals outside of that. It is one snack per snack time, appropriate meal portions served equally to all clients. ONLY fruits and vegetables are available for consumption all day.

Why wouldn't electronics or substances be allowed on property?
These are means for addictions - whether it is your addiction or not , we accept a wide range of individuals and strive to maintain an environment that is inclusive to everyone's needs and safety
T or F: I can share clothes with my peers who may need some.
FALSE - no personal property of any kind should be shared, and we are not liable for any losses or damage that occurs as a result
What is the expection for going on walks or outings?
do not pick up anything, do not bring anything back to the house
Who should I talk to if I have dietary needs or restrictions?
Most of the time, we will know this information as part of your admission. However, if you need any further help, you can let a mentor know and they will reach out to the appropriate resource (usually nursing or chef).

FALSE - Confidentiality is HIGH PRIORITY and violating this will not be tolerated at any capacity
Why might clothing be unapproved?
drug-related references, inappropriate gestures, visible weapons or profanity, ripped/holes, removable strings, inappropriate underwear, safety concerns (spikes, metal, underwire, high heels/steel toes, etc.)
Why is being respectful of my staff and peers a part of my treatment?
we are here to help you, and part of that is being considerate of each other. everyone is dealing with something and everyone has bad days; that is never an excuse to take it out on others or disrupt each other's treatment.
After dinner, a mentor asks Alvin to start on the dishes and he begins to wash the pans. Theodore enters the kitchen to grab some juice before starting his chores, and Simon asks staff if he can enter to wash his hands. Who should not have been in the kitchen?
Theodore. Only one to two clients should be in the kitchen at a time, and ONLY with staff permission. Theodore is the only one who did not speak to staff before entering.
