Warm air rises and and air from another spot moves in to take its place.

Clouds form when warm air which is full of water rises and then cools off. The water vapor condenses into water droplets and ice crystals
How do you figure out how far away lightening is?
To figure out how far away a lightening flash is, count the seconds between seeing then lightening and hearing the thunder and then divide by 5 to find out how many miles away lightening is.
What is a hurricane?
A hurricane is when several thunderstorms join together over the ocean to become a tropical storm.
What is the atmosphere constantly doing?
It is constantly moving and changing.

Cold air pushes down harder on the earths surface.
