76 y/o male, chief complaint of shortness of breath. History of COPD and asthma, on home O2 at 3LPM. Pt has 02 Saturation of 80%. Pt has not taken his prescribed inhaler.

Sick.

Place pt on high flow oxygen at 10-15LPM. Call for ALS if not already on scene. Prepare a neb setup if available, if not assist pt with prescribed inhaler.

Pt is a 35 y/o male who has been battling depression since his recent break up with the love of his life. Pt cut himself with a razor blade and now has uncontrolled bleeding. Pt is pale, cool, and diaphoretic. Pt has a HR of 120 and a BP of 90/50.

Sick.


Place tourniquet on Pt above injury, lay pt in a trendelenburg position. Call for ALS if not already on scene.

Pt is a 66 y/o female complaining of itchy skin and some throat irritation. Pt states that she has a known allergy to peanuts and may have ingested some with her lunch. Pt's HR is 120, BP is 100/76 02 Saturation of 92%. Pt does not have her prescribed Epi Pen with her. 

Sick.

Call medical control for permission to give Pt epi-pen. Place pt on 02 via NRB at 10-15LPM. Call for ALS if not already on scene.
