Describe Bruintism
1. Summer orientation before first year, new students come to inverted fountain
2. Students will lie flat on their stomachs on the brick, put their left hand in the water, and raise their right hand. They will then recite an oath in which they swear to uphold the âTrue Bruin Valuesâ (honor, dignity, respect, âbleeding blue and goldâ for the rest of their days, etc).
3. Once they take their hands out of the water, they cannot touch the water again until they take their last final as a UCLA senior
4. They are cursed to stay an extra quarter at UCLA if they touch the water again
