The five types of mana produced by Basic Lands in Magic: The Gathering are referred to colloquially as WUBRG, with each letter representing one of the colours White, Blue, Black, Red or Green. When paying to use spells and abilities, however, there are other symbols used to represent different mana costs; Generic Mana is represented by a number or an X inside a grey circle and indicates that you can pay that amount with any mana colour, Phyrexian Mana is represented by the Greek symbol Phi inside a coloured circle and indicates that you can pay with one mana of that colour or by sacrificing 2 life, and Hybrid Mana is represented by two different mana symbols as semicircles, forming a single circle between them and indicating that you can pay with either of the two represented mana costs.

There is a sixth Basic Land type - Wastes, which produces colourless mana (different to generic mana).

There was very nearly a Lord of the Rings movie starring The Beatles! After some contention between the band members over who should play whom, the members decided on Paul McCartney as Frodo, Ringo Starr as Sam, George Harrison as Gandalf, and John Lennon as Pippin with Scottish musician Donovan as Merry. They also were keen on getting Twiggy to play Galadriel.

Lennon was going to be Gollum.

The Paleolithic Diet is a fad diet consisting of foods thought to mirror those eaten by humans during the Paleolithic period. The diet encourages consumption of meats, vegetables, fruit, nuts and legumes while discouraging or excluding dairy products, sugar, salt, alcohol and grains.

Legumes are discouraged by the paleo diet.

While Rowlett is the only starter pokemon from the core series of games to be dual-type in its base form, many of the starter pokemon are able to evolve into dual-type final evolutions, including Tepig, Piplup, Chespin, and even Treeko after the introduction of Mega Evolution in Generation 6.

Bulbasaur is also a dual-type Grass/Poison starter.

The final episode of each season of Charmed ends with the door to the Halliwell Manor being closed. In the last season the door is shut by Piper and Leo's granddaughter using telekinesis, the same method used in the earlier seasons by the eldest Halliwell sister Prue.

In season 6 the final episode ends with hospital doors closing, after the birth of Piper and Leo's child.

The Robber is a unique piece in the Catan base game which allows players to obtain resources by stealing from another player. The Robber begins the game in the desert hex, the only hex that does not produce a resource. If a player rolls a 7 or plays a purple-bordered Knight card, all players who have more than 7 cards must select half of their resource cards (rounding down) and return them to the bank. Then the player who activated the robber moves it to a new hex tile and steals, at random, a resource card from an opponent who has a settlement or city adjacent to that hex.

If the Robber is moved as a result of a development card, players do not have to discard cards.

The Hobbit has a sprawling legacy to rival The Lord of the Rings and its sequels. While the prequel work has never been out of print, amendments were made between the first and second editions to make it to align closer to the story of The Lord of the Rings. The novel has been adapted to animated and live action film, as an infamous animated musical television special, a number of radio dramas in a variety of languages, and multiple stage adaptations including a puppetry version that toured Australia in 1997 and again in 2000.

The Hobbit is not a prequel, it came first.

A number of changes were made between the original Jurassic Park novel and the 1993 film adaptation. Perhaps second only to changing the sick stegosaurus to a triceratops in the movie, the Dilophosaurus was dramatically redesigned for the movie. Where Michael Crichton attempted to portray the animal based on scientific evidence at the time by having it standing at roughly 10 ft with venomous spit and red crests along its head, Spielberg's movie reduces the size to smaller than an adult human and adds a neck frill that has no basis in scientific observations, though the venom and head crests do remain.

There was not evidence to suggest Dilophosaurus had venom, this was invented by Crichton for the novel.

The original opening for the animated series Pokemon: Indigo League features many memorable pokemon from the original 151, including the three Kanto starters (Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur) as well as their final evolved forms, along with Lapras, the three legendary bird pokemon Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, Mew and Mewtwo, Pidgeotto, and of course Ash's iconic Pikachu.

Moltres does not appear in the intro.

Despite being referred to as a remake, the plot of the 1999 movie The Mummy varies greatly from the 1932 film of the same name on which it is based.

While the titular mummy in both films is the pharaoh Imhotep, resurrected by an ancient text read aloud and seeking the present-day embodiment of the soul of his beloved, the similarities taper off quickly from there.

In the 1932 film, Imhotep assimilates into modern society over the course of a decade and assumes the identity of an Egyptian historian named Ardath Bey.

Imhotep was not a pharaoh in either version, he was the pharaoh's High Priest.

World of Darkness began as a series of annually released games created for White Wolf Publishing, all beginning with a mythical creature name followed by a colon and the remainder of the name; Vampire: The Masquerade in 1991, Werewolf: The Apocalypse in 1992, Mage: The Ascension in 1993 and Changeling: The Dreaming in 1994. These were followed up by Hunter: The Reckoning, Mummy: The Resurrection and Demon: The Fallen between 1999 and 2002, before the series was rebooted in 2004 as Chronicles of Darkness, and all of the names were changed or replaced entirely.

The list is missing Wraith: The Oblivion (1994) - Changeling was released in 1995.

You're probably familiar with the Equator, the line that defines the Earth's Northern and Southern hemispheres. However, there are 4 other Major Lines of Longitude; the Antarctic Circle at 66.5 degrees South which contains no permanent human residents, and the Arctic Circle at 66.5 degrees North which runs through 8 countries, and the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer which are at 23.5 degrees South and North, respectively.

These are all Lines of Latitude, not Longitude. Would also accept another named Line of Longitude/Latitude.

The introduction of Mega Evolution to the core game series brought a new feature to the franchise with new rules including the following:
In each battle, a trainer may only Mega Evolve a single pokemon once.
That pokemon must be holding the appropriate Mega Stone, and will retain its Mega Evolved form when switched out, but will revert to its original form if it faints.
Furthermore, some pokemon including Charizard, Altaria and Gyarados will change types upon Mega Evolving.

Rayquaza does not use a Mega Stone, it Mega Evolves by using the move Dragon Ascent.

The actors of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer spent a lot of time on our television screens, with 144 episodes of the series from its first episode in 1997 to its finale in 2003. However only Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan have appeared in all 144 of them as Buffy and Willow, respectively. Despite this, the character of Angel has the most television appearances of any of the show's characters at 147 episodes, due to the spinoff series Angel, knocking Buffy Summers down to second place at 150 and Willow Rosenberg to third at 147 appearances.

While the character Willow did appear in all 144 episodes, Alyson Hannigan only appeared in 143 as she was recast into the role of Willow after the pilot.

There are generally considered to be 5 mechanically distinct layers of the Earth's structure (allowing for some overlap in transitional zones). These are, from the innermost to outermost: the solid inner core, the liquid outer core, the viscous asthenosphere, the mesopheric mantle, and finally the lithosphere (also known as the crust).

The mantle is closer to the centre than the asthenosphere.

Not only are there dinosaur fossils found Down Under (shoutout the Winton Formation!), but also from even further South. The first dinosaur in Antarctica to be discovered and named is Cryolophosaurus, one of the largest known carnivorous dinosaurs of the Early Jurassic. It has only one fully described specimen that was excavated in 1991, with a skull that features a nasal crest running over the eyes and fanning out perpendicular to the skull reminiscent of a pompadour, earning it the nickname ‘Elvisaurus’.

There have been multiple dinosaurs discovered and named in Antarctica prior to Cryolophosaurus - penguins.

In episode 139 of Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon, titled 'Enter the Champion!' in its English version, Ash beats Gladion in their Manalo Conference finals battle, making Ash the first Champion of Alola. This episode recieved a lot of attention, as it marked the first time Ash had become a Champion of a Pokemon League, despite his extensive travels and many attempts since the original Indigo League anime.

Ash had previously become a Champion of the Orange Islands.

Episode 21 (Tooms) of the first season of The X-Files marks the second episode revolving around Eugene Tooms, who first appeared in Episode 3 (Squeeze). This episode is also notable as it is the first and only episode in the first season to feature Assistant Director Skinner, and also the first episode to feature actor William B. Davis as the antagonist known as The Smoking Man. Davis had previously been in the show's pilot as an unnamed extra, and in Episode 16 (Young At Heart) as an unrelated CIA agent.

The CIA agent in episode 16 is The Smoking Man, not a separate character.

There are plenty of actions and abilities in D&D that can only be used or activated under specific circumstances. Taking a 3rd level Rogue as an example: Sneak Attack damage can only be applied once per turn, only if you are using a ranged or finesse weapon, and only if you have advantage on the roll or if the target has another enemy within 5ft that is not incapacitated and you do not have disadvantage on the roll.

Then if you have the Assassin archetype, you get advantage on attacks against targets who have not taken a turn yet in the combat. Additionally, if the target is afflicted by the surprised condition then any hit you score is automatically a critical hit.

Surprised is not a condition in 5e

You might think that, with their considerable runtimes, the movie adaptations of The Lord of the Ring don't leave anything out from the books - but you would be wrong.
Some characters from Rivendell who did not make the cut include Elrond's twin sons Elrohir and Elladan, and the blond Noldor elf Glorfindel - whose role in the narrative is largely granted to Elrond's daughter Arwen. However, the romance between Aragorn and Arwen from the books’ stories is expanded upon greatly in the films, so perhaps Peter Jackson simply had a favourite.

The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen is in Appendix A and not contained within the main books.

The velociraptors in the 1993 film Jurassic Park are an iconic part of Spielberg's movie monster menagerie. The very first dinosaur seen in the film is a velociraptor who kills a park worker, and the first fossil depicted in the film is also a near-complete velociraptor skeleton being worked on by Alan Grant's research team in Montana.

Later in the film it is revealed that a large velociraptor, referred to as ‘the big one’, killed all but two of the existing raptors at Jurassic Park after she arrived.

These three dinosaurs later escape when the power is shut down by Ray Arnold, kill both him and the park's warden Robert Muldoon, and are eventually killed by the T-Rex in the foyer of the visitor centre.

At the film’s end one of the three raptors is locked in the kitchen walk-in freezer.

The Pokemon World Championships is an invite-only esports event held annually in August. It began with just the Pokemon Trading Card Game in 2004 but in 2009 competitive tournaments for the video game series, collectively known as VGC, were introduced.

Some of the better known VGC players include: Se Jun Park who won the Masters Division (for ages 17+) in 2014 with Pachirisu, Wolfe Glick who is the only player to have won 10 Regional Championships, and Ray Rizzo who is the only player with multiple World Championship wins having won the Masters Division 3 years in a row between 2010 and 2012.

There was no Masters Division yet in 2010, though Ray Rizzo did win the Seniors Division that year.

The titular character Edward is found living alone by door-to-door Avon saleswoman Peg Boggs, who brings him home and introduces him to her family and the broader suburban neighbourhood, most of whom are fascinated by Edward and initially welcoming.

However, as time goes on Edward finds himself losing favour in the perception of the rest of the neighbourhood, from being tricked into being arrested for attempted robbery to accidentally cutting the hand of Peg's daughter Kim while she is dancing during a snow shower, and later being accused of attacking her son Kevin while pushing him out of the way of being run over by a car.

The ‘snow’ is actually the result of Edward's ice sculpting producing ice shavings. It is stated that the area the town is located does not naturally receive snowfall.
