1 Consult the catalog to learn the numerical value of your letter grade(s) ie A=4, B=3 et al.2 Multiply each grade by the number of credit hours of the course to determine the quality points earned for the course (generally worth 3 or 4) to get your quality points.
3 Add up your total number of quality points and credit hours
