Beloved Testudo has been turtle-napped multiple times. Often times kidnapped and defaced by Johns Hopkins students, once found at the University of Virginia.  In 1951, 700 pounds of cement were filled into Testudo, putting an end to 15 years of turtle nappings. But it wasn't before Testudo had been taken this many times.
