What is the ihram for men? What type of shoes should they wear?

For men, the ihram is two sheets of cloth-unstitched-one wrapped around the upper part of the body (called rida) and one wrapped around the lower half (called izar). Sandals that do not cover the toes/ankles/heels should be worn.
