How can a member request employment verification
CDWA only completes verifications in writing. The organization requesting the verification of employment will email their request to InfoCDWA@ConsumerDirectCare.com.
Verifications include dates of employment, rate of pay, hours worked and salary information.
If an caregiver is terminated by their client, can we provide union representation? Why or why not?
We cannot provide union representation because the client has hire/fire rights. They do not need just cause to terminate a caregiver. We could only represent them if it was either CDWA or agency attempting to terminate them.

How long can IPs receive a temporary WWL increase?
Temporary WWL requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and cannot exceed twelve (12) months in duration.

The member calls in stating that they have an open APS investigation for financial exploitation. They state that they just got told they have to attend a meeting next week by their supervisor. How would you assist?
