WHEN and WHERE go hand in hand. If I wrote a story from 1555, should my characters be wearing headphones and playing Fortnight on their phones? If my story takes place in Italy, would all the characters speak Japanese?

They both describe, but adjectives describe NOUNS and adverbs describe VERBS.

Lazily - adverb that describes how Sally ran
