God's bringing forth the universe and all its inhabitants into being out of nothing
What is Creation?
A praise to God for all his glory, we sing/say the Gloria at Mass; we join our voices with the angels in Heaven to sing praise to God.
What is the Gloria?
This word explains how Genesis tells us that God created everything.
Ex Nihilo
Creating out of nothing - God began with nothing and created all that now exists
What is Ex Nihilo?
The spiritual parts of God's creation, the parts that do not show, our spirit and soul working for God's creation.
What is invisible?
The material parts of God's creation, the parts that show, our body working for God's creation; God created the visible things so that we can know and understand the invisible things.
What is visible?
A set of religious beliefs.
What is a Creed?
One of two great creeds, or statements of belief, of the Church. It is considered to be a summary of the Apostles' faith.
What is the Apostles' Creed?
The formal Profession of Faith recited at Mass.
What is the Nicene Creed?
Visible ways to show feelings or ideas.
What are signs?
A Hebrew word meaning "wind" or "breath" often used in the Old Testament to refer to God's mysterious and powerful life-giving presence. Explained in Genesis 1:2 as God breathing a spirit and soul into life. God gave Adam a soul so he could live.
What is Ruah?
