The average age a person is expected to live to the year they are born.
For example, US has federalism. What does it mean?
It's constitutional division of power, dividing power between national (federal) government and state government.
It allows creating strong federal government while allowing states to have power over smaller issues.
What does a high birth rate indicate about standard of living in the country? Why?
It indicates a low standard of living. In impoverished countries, children seem like necessity - contributing to family. Also, there is less access to contraception and higher infant mortality rate.
