The foundation of every pizza is the crust, and good crust comes from good dough. Ian heard a clatter outside in his backyard. He grabbed his trusty flashlight since it was close to midnight. He ran out onto the deck, stood there for a minute, and scanned the yard. Just as he was turning to go back into the house, he heard the noise again. It was coming from behind the shed. “Who’s there?” yelled Ian with a shaky voice. No one responded. Ian inched closer to the shed. He had to see what was causing the noise. He heard the clattering sound again, but this time he noticed something moving in the wood pile. All of a sudden, a raccoon jumped out of the wood pile and ran toward him! “Ahhhh….” screamed Ian. This must have scared the racoon because he changed directions and ran into the woods behind the house. Ian let out a sigh of relief and began to chuckle. He looked forward to telling his parents about it in the morning.
