The Person with the Authority to use matter and speak the form of a sacrament to administer it

a rational faculty of the soul; a person's ability to reason in the pursuit of truth
What is intellect?
The type of grace that makes us like God and to know God deeply. This grace is received through the Sacraments and when we are not influenced by mortal sin
What is Sanctifying grace?
Christ's Passion, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension
What is Paschal Myatery?
The public worship of the Church, participating in Christ's Prayer
What is the Liturgy?
A term that means the way you pray is the way you believe
lex orandi lex credendi
a tangible abstract reality, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church so that we may have God's Divine life
What is a Sacrament
a faculty of the human soul; a person's ability to choose and act based upon knowledge and understanding
Free Will
An eternal exchange of love which we are invited to partake in
What is Trinitarian life?
A person's state of mind or attitude necessary to receive the Sacraments well
What is disposition?
a phrase that means " by the very actions being performed", and indicates the Sacraments work by just actin on matter and form
What is ex opere operato
The free and undeserved gift from God
Grace
Immediate and temporary help given to us from God for as long as we need it
Actual Grace
One of the three ways that Jesus demonstrates that he is God; a supernatural act of God that shows His power over all things
What is a miracle
The six forms of prayer that the Church provides for us
What is blessing, adoration, petition, intercession, thanksgiving, and praise
