What is citing evidence?

What is characterization?
Words taken and repeated by someone who is not the original author.
What is a quotation?
This plot stage develops all action and drama and may introduce a subplot.
What is the rising action?
A character engaged in conflict.
What is an agonist?
This character changes internally throughout a story when faced with external conflict.
What is a dynamic character?
Characterization where you must use context clues from dialogue, reactions, and others' reactions to make inferences/guesses about a character's personal traits/appearances.
What is indirect characterization?
A note on what text or part of the text a quote came from.
What is a citation?
This plot stage is the peak of all action and drama.
What is the climax?
One of the main characters that is usually the hero/good person in the story that works toward some goal.
What is a protagonist?
This character generally has one personality trait that goes undeveloped throughout a story.
What is a flat character?
Characterization where you will see imagery and vivid descriptions that outright describe someone's traits/appearances.
What is direct characterization?
The author, title, and date of publication of the text you're quoting.
What is a reference?
This plot stage is the immediate response to the climax; it shows how the characters react to this sudden reveal of secrecy or achievement of some goal.
What is the falling action?
One of the main characters that oppose the protagonist and whatever they’re doing.
What is an antagonist?
This character has multiple personality traits and a backstory or deep motive for their actions.
What is a round character?
Conflict where a character faces struggles with their own conscience.
What is internal conflict?
We use this method to answer all short response questions.
What is the RACE Method?
This plot stage resolves all conflict unless there is a cliffhanger.
