Mary is the mother of God the Son made man, Jesus. Does not mean she existed before God. She bore the human person of Jesus. Another name for this doctrine is the theotokos.


Mary was a virgin before, during, and after the birth of Jesus. She did NOT children other than Jesus even though the english translation of scripture uses the word "brother"....other explanations can be given.
