What was Zechariah’s job?
Why did it seem impossible for them to have a child?
He was a priest.
They were old.
How did John live his life?
It was very simple, he wore clothes out of camel hair and ate locusts and honey.
How was Mary able to have a son?
Through Holy Spirit, and Jehovahs will.
Where did Jesus and his family live?
Nazareth
Since Jesus listened to his Heavenly Father and imperfect parents even being perfect, what can we learn?
Always obey our parents, even though Jesus knew better he still listened which shows us as imperfect needing to listen, since that is what Jehovah wants.
When Zechariah didn’t believe Gabriel, what happened to him?
Jehovah made him unable to talk until the birth of John.
Why did Jehovah send John to the people?
He used John to preach to people of a coming messiah.
Where did Joseph and Mary travel to to have the baby?
Bethlehem.
What did Joseph teach Jesus to do from a very young age?
Carpentry
Since Jehovah was Able to protect his son from danger what do we learn about him?
He always lets his will take place and his Holy Spirit is more powerful than anything.
What did Gabriel tell Zechariah?
Your wife will give birth to a child and his name will be John. Jehovah has chosen John for a special work.
How did the people react to John’s message?
People loved what he was teaching so much, they started to believe he was the messiah.
Why was young Jesus I’m danger?
Herod was killing all the little boys, to try and kill the messiah.
When Jesus got lost, where did his parents find him?
In the temple because he wanted to be in the house of his father.
When Jehovah allowed Mary to become pregnant with Jesus, allowed elizabeth to be pregnant even in her old age, and much more amazing things, what does this show us?
Nothing is impossible to Jehovah!!!
