What is PROMPT?
You do this BEFORE reading by reading text features to help you identify WHAT the text is about.

What is the TOPIC?
This word is a verb, and means to examine or study.
What is ANALYZE?
These notes have two sections. Often one section is used for main ideas, and the other for details.
You can demonstrate this "P" by trying to have a good attitude and a growth mindset, or helping and supporting others when they are in a negative space.
What is POSITIVE?
You do this DURING or AFTER Reading when you write down the most important information in a text, in your own words, so that you can organize, understand, and remember information. You do not need to write in complete sentences when doing this.

When you write about a topic, and include only the most important information from a text. When doing this type of writing you must you use your own words. Doing this will help you demonstrate your understanding, and help you remember information.

When answering a question, use part of the question in your answer. This helps you write in a complete sentence, and stay focused on what the question is asking.
