I see, hear, or smell something that makes me think something or feel something. This thought can either be helpful or unhelpful. The feeling is located somewhere in my body. When I think these things or feel these feelings, I know I tend to shut down or lash out at others. I am self-aware of how my actions affect others and I am learning to catch myself before making a choice that could hurt others or myself.
