(The global church is all people throughout history who have trusted in Jesus. The local church is a group of believers who live near one another, are committed to one another, and who gather regularly to worship Jesus, serve others, and share the gospel.)
What is so significant about every creature worshiping Jesus together?
The Bible teaches that God the Son, with God the Father, created all things. Jesus deserves all praise, honor, and blessing. Because Jesus is God of all creation, He deserves praise from all of creation.

Why is it important that Jesus is the First and the Last?
Jesus is eternal. His title “the First and the Last” helps us understand that Jesus has always existed—before anything else—and will exist forever into the future. He is God the Son, and He is worthy of all praise and honor.)
What does it mean to be lukewarm?
A temperature that is neither hot (hot water is therapeutic) nor cold (cold water is refreshing). We become ineffective for Jesus’ cause if we are lukewarm. He desires that all believers follow Him passionately. Read Ps. 63:1.)

We see the creatures and people worshiping Jesus by speaking, bowing down, throwing their crowns at Jesus’ feet, and singing. (Read Rom. 12:1).
How does the hope of heaven help believers to remain faithful to the Lord?
The promise of Jesus’ return fills believers with hope. We know how things end, so we can be sure that our faithfulness will be rewarded. Our confidence in God’s promises helps us persevere through the trials of life because we will be with God and enjoy Him forever.
