This biographical film is about 4 young men that grow up in West Virginia with little hopes of ending up anywhere but the coal mines. One goes rogue and is thought to cause a wildfire that causes mining accident injuries that leave the boy feeling responsible. It follows him as he searches for answers, works hard to win the National Science Fair, and come to terms with his favorite teacher’s illness.
