What is the relationship between speed, distance, and time?
Speed is the distance an object travels in a certain amount of time. Speed relates distance to time. If two airplanes travel for the same amount of time, but one travels 500 km and the other only travels 200 km, we can tell that the speed of the first plane was greater than the second, because the first plane went a greater distance in the same amount of time.
