The colonies are part of the British empire and not independent states. The British Parliament is there to preserve order among the population and to protect the rights of citizens. We are as free any person on Earth under the British government.

If we as American citizens begin to have our rights infringed or taken away we have the legitimate right to overthrow our government and to institute a new form of government that will better protect our rights.
