Your appearance for a job interview shouldn't really matter, right? Afterall, the dentist should be hiring you for your skills and qualifications; so what if your shoes are a little on the not so white side and you ran out of time and didn't iron out the wrinkles in your pants. When you spoke on the phone yesterday, it sounded as though the job was in the bag, so there is no reason to have to worry about your appearance, right???
WRONG!!! You may have made a great impression by your resume and solidified it just the day before over the phone when scheduling the interview. However, showing up to the interview without your best appearance could prove detrimental. You may still get the job, however, at a lower salary than what may have been offered if you "appeared" to have looked your most professional.
