is when you emphasize the differences between elements to create interest or excitement.

Color depth, compression, portability, and transparency.
What are the layers?
Compiling multiple pictures or objects together into one image
What are the 3 different types of font spacing?
Leading, Kerning, Tracking
What are grids?
Is the use of columns and/or rows in design. This technique is used frequently in print and web design.
What are the two types of compression?
Lossless, and Lossy
What are selections?
Identifying a specific area of a layer or image that allows you to move or apply techniques to only that specific area on that specific layer.
What's font personality?
Font choice should convey the meaning or personality that matches the purpose of the design
What is the Optical?
The center is the spot that the eye sees first when it encounters a page.
What is portability?
How easily you can open, modify, and view the files on computers using different operating systems, software and browsers.
What is transforming?
Hanging a graphics size or dimensions through commands such as scaling and rotating.
