Wilson proposed a plan based on more leniency toward Germany while the Treaty of Versailles wanted to punish Germany for the destruction caused. The League of Nations was ironic because it was suggested by the U.S. but the U.S. never joined to remain isolated and neutral/out of European affairs.

People were fearful of spies. These citizens lived in compounds set up like prisoner of war camps that offered recreational activities, school, and more but life was very hard and upon return to "normal life", they discovered they had lost their homes, jobs, and more.

It was a religious movement involving dancing and chanting that was thought to bring back the buffalo and return things to their former way in the west. It also reconnected many Natives to their culture despite being on reservations.

The Red Scare was the widespread fear in the U.S. during the 1920's that communism and/or socialism would take over the country and infiltrate businesses, government, and more. It caused people to question and not trust their friends, neighbors, and sometimes family- particularly if they were immigrants from Eastern or Southern Europe where socialism and communism were more widespread. This led to the U.S. enforcing immigrant quotas from those regions of the world and raiding places believed to be involved in communist/socialist activity (Palmer Raids).

Japanese citizens- caused physical, mental, and long-lasting medical issues as well as many deaths
