What changes occur with the urinary system with immobility?
Pooling of urine- urine can accumulate in kidneys, ureters or bladder which can lead to small stones forming in the urinary tract, also can lead to UTIs. Incomplete emptying of bladder- some urine can be retained and can lead to UTI Urinary Incontinence- Loss of muscle control causing dribbling of urine or uncontrolled voiding
