What do you do when a resident loses thier key?
Ask them where and when they lost their key, and note this information in the duty report. RAs should not access the key box and distribute new keys for students unless told to do so by the Director of Residence Life. The file key (usually on the red key tag) should never be given to a resident.

This is the protocol you should follow when entering a resident's room
Have a second staff person present, knock three times and identify yourself before keying into the room. If the resident is not present, send an email to notify the resident of entry, reason, and any follow-up if necessary.

You take the last pack of printer paper to refill the paper tray in the Smith Hall computer lab printer. This is what you should in order to replenish the paper supply.
Email the Mullen Mailroom attendant (Veda Rawlings - Veda.rawlings@ursuline.edu), and copy the Director of Residence Life, to request a minimum of two boxes of printer paper for the halls. Place a work order requesting pick-up of the boxes of paper from Mullen, and delivered to Grace Hall Mailroom.

During break room health and safety inspections you notice a microwave under a resident's bed. This is the protocol you should follow
Confiscate the microwave and take to the Director's Office. You or the Director are to notify the resident that the "illegal item" was removed and cannot be returned until the resident can remove it from the residence hall. A $25 fine will be issued.
