The right of freedom of speech, press, religion, peaceable assembly. The right to bear arms, The government may not quarter soldiers in private homes during peacetime. The government may not search or take a person's property without a warrant. A person may not be tried twice or forced to testify against him/herself. The right to a trial and to be represented by a lawyer. The right to a jury by peers. Protect people against excessive or unreasonable fines or cruel and unusual punishment.
