What is 'What do we expect students to learn?'
300
We look at the state standards. We write them in student-friendly wording in our Unit Rubrics and Scales. Our Unit tests were made last summer-so we review those and make some eliminations (based on perhaps a bad question or not covered in the standard). We develop mini-assessment (quizzes/etc.) to give between the Unit tests as a group with each of us providing several questions and then deciding which questions to use (all agree). We discuss weekly what is being covered and what will be covered the next week (where we need to be) and we share possible lesson we have used in past that might help teach those standards covered.
What is 'What do we do before each unit?'

We all give our tests on the same day (unless of absence). We record our data in our Google Drive in a spreadsheet to share our data. We are constantly sharing lesson ideas and information with each other as we go. We look at our data to determine students that need help and those students are recommended to the following: Intercession, after-school tutoring, POWER Time, Saturday School
What is 'What do we do during each unit?'
500
We review our data and look at possible questions that were commonly missed and why? (Mastery Connect). All data is saved for review. Each student keeps and fills out the rubric for each unit to see where they are before testing and then fills out a student mastery form after the test to see how they did on each standard covered.
What is 'What do we do after the unit?'
