By creating a safe space for dialogue between campus community members who may not ordinarily interact with one another, retreats have become an important forum to engage in social, cultural and political issues

Who is considered Posse Plus?
Posse Plus includes anyone in the campus community who Posse scholars have made part of their meaningful campus experience, including fellow students, faculty, and administrators. Posse Scholars are encouraged to invite friends who they think will
contribute to the retreat, bring a new and different perspective or stand to gain from the experience. They should try to invite a representative cross-section of the campus community.
