What is an independent variable?
Anything that has mass and takes up space.

Any inappropriate lab behavior, or not taking the lab seriously.

What is the dependent variable?
How much matter an object has.

What is a triple beam balance?
A graph that shows how an independent variable affects a dependent variable.
What is a line graph?
This is something that stays the same over the course of an experiment.
What is a constant?
The unit scientists use to measure length.
What are meters?
These should be worn any time heat or chemicals are used.
What are safety goggles?
This white material is essential to ensure accuracy when graphing, due to its grid structure.
What is graph paper?
The axis along the bottom, which shows the independent variable.
What is the x-axis?
This is something that we use as a baseline, to compare our data to.
