Are tomatoes fruits or vegetables?

Yes No Maybe So?

Tomatoes are grown with the seeds inside, on a vine,  which classifies them as a fruit. Traditionally, we enjoy tomatoes for their rich juicy flavor but do not categorize them as fruits because they are usually not sweet. They grow like a fruit, they traditionally do not taste like one.
