How do you describe a puppy/kitten package to the owner?
It will include the vaccines needed for the first year of life, dewormer at each puppy wellness as well as first dose of heart worm preventative. It covers the cost of any exam for the first year whether it is a regular check in or an urgent care.

How do you get a large dog into lateral recumbency?
Have dog standing with the side that needs to be down against you. Reach over dog and grab the legs closest to your body. Slowly and carefully lower the dog to the ground. When in position, place forearms in flank and neck area while holding legs closest to the ground.
What does FVRCP+Ch stand for?
Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia and Chlamydia

How do you send out a sample to IDEXX?
Put blood and urine into appropriate tubes. Spin blood down. Package into padded envelope with WAC, Name and date written on it. Put into plastic IDEXX sample bag. Print two copies of the requisition form. One goes with chart into labwork pending; the other goes with sample. Put sample in box with fresh icepack. (Make sure there is a daily IDEXX bag for all samples)
Rules of scrubbing for anesthesia are...
