Music halls were another favorite, where people could watch singing, dancing, and comedy acts. Attending social events like balls, dinner parties, and concerts were also common among the rich.

No- medical knowledge was limited, and many illnesses were not well understood. Common treatments often did more harm than good, as doctors did not know about bacteria or viruses yet.

 Bloodletting, where doctors would cut a patient to let out “bad blood,” was a common treatment. Other treatments included herbal remedies, some of which worked, while others did not. Pain relief was limited, and surgery was dangerous and often fatal.
